One of our greatest pleasures so far has been to create the Ultra Zone guitar for guitar legend Steve Vai, who has influenced legions of guitarists around the world with his illustrious solo work and his work with artists including Frank Zappa, David Lee Roth, Public Image Limited, Whitesnake, and Joe Jackson among others. Inspired by the cover artwork from Vai's bestselling CD "The Ultra Zone" (1999 Sony/Epic), Emerald Guitars' Alistair Hay set out to make this amazing instrument a reality, and the finished product (owned by Vai) is simply stunning.
