XB-35 Bass

The XB-Bass is a truly modern design making use of our unique composite manufacturing technology to give a design and shape that feels as good as it sounds. The sculpted back and sides fit the player comfortably making the guitar feel smaller and more manageable and there is even a cutaway on the upper rim to allow for a more comfortable forearm and a built in thumb rest to aid playing.

The soundhole has been offset to the side, removing a lot of the stresses from the top and increasing the potential soundboard area while projecting sound directly to the player. This gives the top more power making it louder with clean punchy bass notes.

Carbon fibre is the perfect material for building an acoustic bass. We build our basses using our one piece casting technology so they are incredibly strong yet light. That strength means we can build a neck that is strong enough to take the stresses of heavy bass strings yet is slim and comfortable and it also has a double action truss rod to aid optimal setup. Its truly a step forward in bass construction and is sure to give you a bass that is both reliable no matter where you take it around the world and a tone as rich, loud and resonant as you have ever heard.

The XB bass is available in both 4 and 5 string configurations, fretted or fretless and we also offer many possibilities for customisation such as 8 string, 10 string or 12 string octave basses or even double necks. Just contact us for more information about whats possible.
